My reflection about stop go animate

The learning went well because everyone in my group was collaborating and they were very easy to work with. My group had to start over three times because our fingers and body parts were in the snapshot.  Now I know to take a snapshot when no one is in front of the camera.

What a disaster!

This is my DLO ( digital learning object ) about the Rena disaster. The Rena disaster was a very dangerous disaster. Did you know that lots of sea birds died because of the oil and the pollution from the container ship. I hope you enjoy it!

May Road reflection

What?

We went to May Road school to give them a better idea about genius hour. We played some games, and one of them was trying to create a jigsaw puzzle. We had lots of fun. Next we had to get signatures from the May Road school students and I was the first one that finished the 6 boxes.

So what?

We did it because we thought it would be great for us. They needed help with genius hour so we decided to help them out a bit. After a while they will be experts like us.  

Now what?

My next step is to work with people in different schools and countries. I need to help more students and parents.

Explanation about Kina

I am going to teach you how kina make sound waves. First of all what are sound waves? Sound waves are waves that are caused by sound. COOL!!! They are caused by kina’s rasping teeth. The rasping teeth is all it takes to make sound waves.

Do you know what generates the vibration? It’s the kina. The  kina operates the vibration. By that I mean it controls the vibration. The kina do a really good job of controlling the vibration.

A way kina makes vibration is by eating algae. Algae is the kina’s favorite food to eat. Also it is good for the vibration when it is created. Vibration is very important to the sound and sound waves.

One way kina makes sound waves is by eating algae. Eating algae produces sound waves. Sound waves are very important to make sound because sound waves are the waves that produce sound.

Now you know how the kina transmits sound waves. Now you have more knowledge about the kina and what it does. Now you can tell everyone and give them more knowledge about the Kina. You can also make a explanation.  Would you like to write your explanation about the kina?

Key competencies

One of the things I am proud of is that I am able to work with other people. Now I can compromise. Compromise means listening to everyones ideas and sharing ideas. Compromising is the best way to decide what we want to do. It helps me when I am in a group.

One thing I am proud of is that I can comment on students blogs. I am open to new ideas and ways to learn. What it really means is that I can pick up new things really quickly and get use to other resources really fast.

Also I use my manners EG: using please and thank you when I need to. By that I mean you have to give some respect to people. Respecting other people is really good because if you respect other people they will start to respect you.

Normally I include others. I include other people when I am playing things like soccer. If I include them, they will include me. That way we can make new friends.

If people need help I give them help. If they are injured I take them to the office. If they are sad I cheer them up by telling them a joke.
